This week's rider of the week is Logan Clark! Logan is bike #7 in the 50cc classes and is the son of David and Ashley Dye Clark from Acworth, Georgia. He will be in the 3rd grade at Pickett's Mill Elementary School. Logan will turn 8 years old in August and has 2 sisters and 1 brother. He got his first dirt bike a year ago and began racing with us here at Pro Edge Calhoun at the end of February this year. Logan took a fifth place finish in the first moto Saturday night, but that all changed in the second moto, coming back strong with cheering of mom and dad with the white towel on the track, to take a second place finish! Logan also wrapped up our Southern Shootout series with a 4th place overall finish in 51cc Stock limited and the 51cc open classes and has an awesome start in this series! His favorite SX rider is Ryan Villopoto and when he grows up he wants to be a SX rider. You got this tough guy! He would like to thank his mom and dad along with Dalas Conner MX School and Jeff Chambers at Moto Resources. Congratulations Logan on being our rider of the week, we wish you the best! You have a free practice on us. If you have never been to a MX race or ever wondered what all the hype is about with these 50cc kids check out the video below it speaks for itself! This is where its at and where it all begins with moms and dads on the track! This week's rider of the week is Bryan Floyd! He is the son of Danny and June Floyd from Adairsville, Georgia. Bryan is the #74 on the 450 Honda and attends Gordon Central High School. He began riding at the age of 4 and had always wanted to ride ever since he first saw a Honda motocross commercial on T.V. His favorite race memory and what brought him to be rider of the week, comes from this past weekend when he got the holeshot in both motos and led the entire race. I must also add Bryan is our Southern Shootout 450c champ and has began this next series with an impressive start. Bryan wants to be a supercross/motocross mechanic/technician in the future. His favorite supercross rider is Trey Canard and his advice to younger riders is work as hard off the bike as on it and the results will show. Most of all Bryan wants to thank Shane Cloer at Six4 Motoworks for teaching him everything he knows about working on dirt bikes and his whole family for being so supportive of him in his sport and especially his Dad! Congratulations Bryan on being our rider of the week. From all of us here at Pro Edge Motosports we wish you the very best! You have a free practice on us. Everyone join us this weekend, meet Bryan and many more great young man like him. This weekend is a special weekend as we give back to you! Rider Appreciation race this Saturday night. All bikes race the first 2 classes for free! Gates admission just $10. Once again its all happening at Pro Edge Calhoun the only place in North Georgia to be for dirty fun for the whole family under the bright lights! Faith, Family and Motocross! God Bless~~Jaime~~
